Interlude XIV - Titans II
In Hoenn, the battle against Kyogre proves nearly impossible until Surge arrives to provide tactical zone control with his Electric pokemon. He sacrifices his Magnezone to buy time and is soon aided by Brendan and May riding Latios and Latias. At the Sky Pillar, Gym Leader Wallace guides young psychic Wally to use Unown to summon Rayquaza. However, the cosmic action inadvertently awakens the three Regis. To spare Wally's conscience, Wallace takes the blame for the mistake. In Celadon, Glen and MG push into the collapsed casino. Overcoming his fear that Blue might be dead, Glen focuses on finding Lizzy and helping however they can. Underneath the casino, a Team Rocket guard named Ramin ruthlessly murders two trapped civilians to ensure the secret Silph lab beneath remains hidden. In the Cinnabar lab, Dr. Light decides to risk releasing Mewtwo in an armored life-support suit. Mewtwo uses its powers to safely guide the staff to the surface, but once free, it requests to take a walk in the rain, forcing Dr. Light to accompany it with her hand nervously gripping its failsafe remote.
